Get a balloon to rise and a paper plane to fly, and have a go at some exciting experiments to find out why aeroplanes look the way they do.

Hop in the flight simulator to test your skill as a pilot, or let one of the experts take you under their wing through the museum. Our pilot, Piloti, is happy to escort you through three secret parts of the Transport Museum via a touchscreen – all you have to do is crack the puzzles. Then, you can test yourself on our one-of-a-kind travel machine to see if you’re a real travel expert.

Transport Garden
Visit our fun adventure area to learn all about the highway code as you hit the road on a bobby car track complete with signs, signals and tunnels! You can also compete to see who cycles the hardest, as measured by ergometers, solve puzzles, build Lego and do crafts.
